Diamond Fuji is a phenomenon that occurs at sunrise and sunset when the sun seems to overlap the summit of Mt. Fuji. It is seen from Lake Yamanaka at sunset. The twilight-colored Diamond Fuji appears when the sun sets at the peak of Mt. Fuji. You can see it around 15: 30-16: 30 (depending on the season and location), so it is highly recommended, even if you are not an early bird. It is viewable for a long time from mid-October to mid-November and from late January to late February.

The gorge located in Chichibu-Tama-Kai National Park was registered in June 2019 as ““Kobushi UNESCO Eco Park.” Over an extended period, granite has been scraped off by the river, which has created what they call the most beautiful gorge in Japan, featuring cliffs, strange-shaped rocks and stones. It is overwhelming to see about 1,000 Hina dolls and hanging ornaments from the Edo period to the present day. Among the many exhibition halls, Kanzo-Yashiki House displays Hina dolls from the Edo, Meiji, Taisho, and Showa eras and hanging decorations that may feel Koshu. Also, in front of the Citizens Meeting Room on the 1st Fl. of the Koshu City Hall Main Office, original Hina dolls and hanging ornaments created by local children are exhibited in cooperation with the nursery schools and kindergartens in the city. The best time to see the peach blossoms in Enzan Togenkyo is from early to mid-April. The "Itozakura cherry blossoms at Jiunji Temple" is also in full bloom from late March to early April.
